The Station Project – West Tuscarawas & Brown Ave NW

The Station Project will transform the former train station site at West Tuscarawas Street and Brown Avenue NW into a vibrant new residential and community-oriented development. This 38-unit neighborhood will feature modern housing designed with generous front porches, shared green spaces, and a pedestrian-friendly layout that encourages connection, visibility, and community life.

At the heart of the project is the rehabilitation of the historic train station, which will be preserved and reimagined as a community park and gathering space. The restored station and surrounding open areas will provide a neighborhood anchor — creating a place for families, residents, and visitors to gather, play, and build relationships.

Designed as a catalyst for future investment, The Station Project will connect with surrounding housing and neighborhood development initiatives, strengthening an emerging residential corridor and supporting long-term neighborhood revitalization. By combining new housing, historic preservation, and public green space, the project reflects Canton for All People’s commitment to creating high-quality, connected, and enduring neighborhoods.
