The Gibbs Kitchen is Canton for All People’s community-centered food service and social enterprise, created to expand access to healthy, high-quality meals while strengthening neighborhood opportunities.
Operating from our campus, the Gibbs Kitchen prepares daily meals for our preschool and daycare, ensuring children in our care receive nutritious, balanced food that supports learning and growth. Beyond our own programs, the Kitchen serves free community meals in the surrounding neighborhood, welcoming residents to gather, eat well, and build connection.
The Gibbs Kitchen also offers full-service catering for private events, meetings, and celebrations. In keeping with our mission, for every meal catered through our service, one meal is given away to a neighbor in need through our community meal program. When you choose Gibbs Kitchen for your event, you are directly helping feed families in our community.
In addition, the Kitchen operates as a social enterprise by securing catering and USDA-funded meal contracts with schools, childcare centers, and youth-serving organizations across the region. Revenue from these partnerships helps sustain our free meal programs and strengthens access to healthy food for all.
